ShareI often have spotted Bharwa Bhindi in the Vegetarian buffet menu of many Indian restaurants.
I have been wanting to make this recipe since ages but finally managed to [courtesy my blog :-)].
Ingredients:
Wash the bhindis, pat dry with a towel. Cut ends
Cut a slit length wise. The slit will be used to stuff the filling
Mix all dry ingredients of the filling well.
Add oil and mix again.
Use a teaspoon to stuff the filling into the bhindi.
Arrange the bhindis over a perforated plate and steam for about 5mins till the bhindis are almost cooked.I used the steaming arrangement in my rice cooker for this.
Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard and jeera seeds.Once they splutter, add the crushed garlic and saute well.
Add the bhindi and saute on high flame till the bhindia are crisp.Make sure you dont mash the bhindis.Check for salt.
Garnish with chopped corriander leaves.
