ShareLast weekend,I managed to get my hands on some really fresh King fish steaks. The steak was so large that it could be enough for two.Over the weekend, dinner,I made this dish along with Khushka or Bagara Khana and Chicken Korma curry.I shall post those recipes shortly.

For the Fish fry you will need:
  • King fish steak-1 large or medium sized pieces-4nos
  • Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
  • Pepper powder-1/2tsp
  • Red chilli powder-1/2tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  • Corriander powder(dhania)-1tsp
  • Besan-1tsp
  • Lemon juice-of 1/2 lemon.
  • Salt-to taste
  • Oil-to fry
Method:
Gently rub lemon juice to the fish pieces and leave for 10 mins and wash away. This will remove any smell that remains in the fish.
Mix all the remaining ingredients together and marinate the pieces of fish in them for about 3-4hours minimum.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the pieces on medium heal till it turns crisp on both sides.

Drain oil on paper towels and serve hot with lemon wedges.
